Who We Are

The 'Ole Blacksmith Shop represents the culmination of a life-long passion for Cal Vance, and his wife, Heather. The antique store is well stocked with vintage pieces and collectibles from every era and description. You'll find everything from railroad pieces to general store products, and everything in between. However, perhaps the store's most impressive collection is its farming and ranching items, along with pieces that are related to service stations and the oil and gas industry.

Our Approach

Customers can expect a pleasant, and honest experience dealing with Cal and Heather.  The couple's intent is for you, the customer, to enjoy items from the past-to imagine whose hands held these items in days gone by; to think of those that have come before us and the history that has been made.

A person who appreciates "antiques" is one who acknowledges our history as a society.  These people feel gratitude for all of the ingenuity and tenacity of our predecessors, in using the tools and devices we now covet. collecting antiques is a way of preserving the past, for those in the future.

OUR HISTORY
The Ole Blacksmith Shop

The Ole Blacksmith Shop was originally constructed in 1929 for use as....a Blacksmith Shop! Cal purchased the building in 2015 with the original intention of using it as a workshop. Cal and Heather had a vision for what they wanted the building to look like, and keeping with its history was of the utmost importance.

With that in mind, they produced dramatic results. They maintained historic relevance on the exterior of the building, which is highlighted by two, original picture windows. The interior was completed gutted and transformed into a rustic, clean and welcoming store.

The rear part of the building is a workshop used for restoring vintage pieces, including tractors and engines.
